4. Analytics
We use the privacy-friendly analytics software Umami to better understand how our website is used and to improve our services. Umami is hosted on our own infrastructure.
In this context, page views, referrers, browser type, device type, and approximate country are processed in aggregated form. No cookies are set and no user profiles are created. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
5. Third-Party Services
Google Fonts
This website uses Google Fonts for consistent font display. When you open a page, your browser loads the required fonts from Google's servers. In doing so, your IP address is transmitted to Google. For more information, please refer to Google's privacy policy.
Apple App Store
Our website contains links to the Apple App Store. When you follow these links, Apple's privacy policy applies. We have no influence over data processing by Apple.
Android App Waitlist (Airtable, n8n)
When you sign up for the Vario One Android app waitlist, we store your email address, your chosen language and metadata about the sign-up (form source, page URL, browser user agent) with the provider Airtable (Formagrid Inc., USA, certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). Sign-up uses a double-opt-in procedure – your data is only fully processed after you click the confirmation link in the confirmation email.
The sole purpose of processing is the one-time notification on Android launch day. No other marketing use occurs. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You may revoke your consent at any time without giving reasons by email to info@vario-one.com.
After the launch notification has been sent, your data will be deleted within 30 days. Technical processing of the sign-up and email delivery is handled by our self-hosted n8n instance on a server in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH).
Android Beta Tester Program (Google Play)
If you sign up as a beta tester for the Vario One Android app, we additionally store your Google account email address with Airtable, alongside the sign-up data described above. To enroll you as a tester, we then transmit your email address to Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), operator of the Google Play Store. The transfer is made to the USA; Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
The sole purpose of processing is to enroll you as a tester in the Google Play closed-testing program and to send you the Play Store access link by email. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, and Art. 49 (1) (a) GDPR for the transfer to a third country). You may revoke your consent at any time by email to info@vario-one.com; we will then remove you from the tester list in the Google Play Console.
