Connect BlueFly Vario to Vario One
Use your BlueFly as an external Bluetooth variometer with Vario One as your display and flight-recording app on iPhone or Android.
BlueFly and Vario One: hardware and app combined
BlueFly Vario sends variometer readings over Bluetooth. Vario One connects to the device and displays the data during flight — with vario tones, a clear display and recorded flights in the digital logbook.
This setup is useful if you use your smartphone as a flight instrument and want to integrate a separate Bluetooth variometer into your equipment.
Set up BlueFly with Vario One
- Turn on BlueFly and enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- iPhone: Open the BlueFly Vario settings in Vario One and connect the device.
- Android: First pair BlueFly in your smartphone’s Bluetooth settings. Then open the BlueFly Vario settings in Vario One and connect it.
- Enable auto-connect (optional). When the app starts, it automatically connects to the last variometer you used when it is available.
Check the connection status before take-off to make sure readings are arriving in Vario One.
